Glacier National Park

Glacier National Park

The scenery throughout Glacier National Park is unparalleled, offering hikers a myriad of trails to explore. Glacier National Park is named for the rivers of ice that still continue to carve out its Alpine-like landscape.

You can expect to have numerous grizzly bear sightings if you venture off the roads and can observe them at their natural feeding rituals. Glacier is also famous for a myriad of other animals including wolves, mountain lions, and mountain goats. The very remote quality that makes Glacier hospitable to these solitary species also makes it less accessible than other national parks. You will find that some effort is needed to gain access to the most promising areas, but the extra effort will pay huge dividends. If you are willing to make the hike, some of the worlds most pristine high mountain lakes are also at your disposal.
